Alex began her journey into fitness with bodybuilding and then transitioned into functional training. With a background in a variety of movement styles, Alex refuses to train simply to check the “workout” box on her to-do list and is dedicated to having her clients feel the same. Her relatable approach to fitness asks you to dig a little deeper, push a little harder, and unlock your true potential. All you have to do is trust yourself, and simply flow into strong.

Before calling New York City her home, Aleona was born and raised in Ulan-Bator, Mongolia. Her first home in America was a two-mile long Circus train where her mother, a professional dancer, performed for two years before they moved to Chicago. Prior to entering the fitness industry, she received my BA in Education and MA in Corporate Communication. Driven by her desire to lead a healthy and active lifestyle, she left the corporate world behind and received my Barre Teacher Certification. Her proudest athletic moment was completing the NYC marathon, the 5 borough Half Marathons and the Urban Athlete Race. She am the perfect example of how it is never too late to reinvent yourself – to find your passion and to continue to dream and work towards your goals.

With her dance background, Cindy was drawn to yoga for the challenge of the movement. But she found the effects that yoga have on the the mind to be of the most benefit. What happens on the mat- or in the gym- is a microcosm of the rest of our lives. If we learn to move in different ways with ease, specificity, focus, grace of body and mind, our outside lives will mirror.

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida Britney moved to New York City on a whim. The fast pace of the city meshed perfectly with her inner drive. Fitness has always been a priority in Britney’s life. After growing up a competitive gymnast, she later transitioned to dance and lacrosse, and fell in love with yoga in college. In Britney’s class, you can expect a fun, dynamic flow using muscles you didn’t even know existed. Sharing her love of an active lifestyle, Britney hopes to change lives and inspire with her positivity and dedication.

Christina Jensen

Personal trainer, model, and dancer–Christina Jensen credits her success as a fitness professional in NYC to the discipline and motivation learned throughout her childhood and adult professional dance career. Helping others to work towards their best physical and mental well-being is one of the powerful rewards for fitness enthusiasts like Christina.

Her work with clients such as actress Daniella Pineda from hit primetime show Detour, and CNN news anchor Cristina Alesci, reminds Christina of the true responsibility and privilege of personal training. Christina is currently a Reebok One Athlete, a free-lance certified personal trainer, leads various group fitness classes for Men’s Health, Women’s Health, and Bandier. Christina is excited to announce joining the brand Fitner as featured trainer.

Recently retiring from dancing full-time as a Principal from Phoenix Project Dance, has allowed for Christina to focus more on fitness. Check out The Anarchy Workout, and All In 18 to see Christina’s most recent workout content. “If I had not been a dancer, there is no way I would be where I am now!”

Yanik Faylayev

Yanik Faylayev was raised in New York City, and ever since he was a kid he wanted to join the circus. After graduating with a degree in biochemistry, he pursued his dreams of being an aerialist/acrobat.

He has been practicing yoga for about 8 years to gain new insight on the mechanics of the body and loves to share everything he picks up on. His main outlet is primarily the controlled movements that yoga provides, by learning to unite breath with movement we can attain true dominance over our mind and body. The only way to experience the awesomeness of yoga is to just take a class.

Jeanah Hong

Jeanah is a yoga instructor certified from Laughing Lotus. She loves sharing it with others, as it allows a mind and body balance for all and increases mobility and stamina in athletes as well. There is no such thing as being “good or bad at yoga” – it is always a challenging practice for both the mind and body, for everyone.  Jeanah welcomes all levels of yoga experience into the studio.
